While updating an existing product family, this customer determined that a new, more powerful Bluetooth Speaker was needed. While the existing line had a Bluetooth speaker, this deluxe speaker needed to be bigger and better in every way than its standard counterpart, all while sticking to the overarching design cues of its product family.
Having already designed the standard version of the speaker, we started out with a great framework with which to create the deluxe version. An added driver greatly increased the amount of sound the deluxe version was capable of producing and only slight modifications to the housing design were necessary to ensure that the higher volume audio was still of exceptional quality. And like its standard counterpart, the deluxe speaker was designed with weather-resistance features like gaskets and sealing screws to allow users to take the music wherever they want it to be.
