The unit also had to power a legacy 12V “cigarette port” accessory alongside two USB ports, all from a single 12VDC input — and do so safely, efficiently, and attractively.
Steiner Enterprises engineered a compact, weather-tolerant charger that features two 2.1A USB ports with fast-charging capabilities, plus a 1A auxiliary port. The enclosure was designed to match the visual styling of the updated product family, while the internal electronics were optimized for balanced power delivery across all outputs. For added convenience and user experience, an elastic band was integrated into the design, allowing mobile devices to hang securely while charging.
