Steiner engineered a robust, RV-specific digital wall thermostat that integrates seamlessly with 12VDC systems and supports a full range of HVAC modes. The unit features Auto Cool+Heat, Dry Mode, and Electric Heat Assist, all configurable via DIP switches. To enhance performance and comfort, Steiner developed a proprietary algorithm that governs the Auto Cool+Heat function — managing changeover timing, minimizing energy waste, and preventing unnecessary cycling between modes.
A rotary encoder with push-to-select functionality, paired with a crisp black-on-white LCD, ensures easy interaction even in motion.
Modes include Cool, Gas Heat, Electric Heat, Auto Cool+Heat, and Dry (dehumidification), designed specifically for mobile applications.
Our custom Auto Cool+Heat algorithm introduces a smart 15-minute crossover buffer and decision logic that reduces cycling, increases comfort, and prolongs equipment life.
Works with internal or external sensors, giving OEMs flexibility in thermostat placement without compromising temperature accuracy.
Includes a self-resetting PTC fuse and short-cycle protection for compressor and heating circuits
