The Opportunity:

Over the years, our client had created a number of accessories for their modular bird feeder pole system. This system grew to a point where it was hard for new customers to know what they needed to purchase in order to get started. While it was clear that a starter kit was needed, our customer lacked the resources for developing the packaging design as well as retail artwork. As we already sourced many of the metal components in their pole system, they came to us to assist in packing up their starter set.

Solution

Working with our customer to determine what needed to be in a starter set, we devised a shipping substructure that safely held metal parts of all shapes and sizes while still being easy to assemble and pack. We then turned our attention to creating an appealing, 4-color retail package to really catch a potential customer’s eye. An effective package, eye-catching artwork, and an affordable price tag dramatically improved sales.
